Murmers and Whispers

2019 arrived with little fanfare. Feels a lot like 2018. Been cleaning out the shelves and boxes of things that were on shelves. Ran into some of my old D&D campaigns and writings from the early 90s. I may clean some of it up and post it here. They are fragments now; much lost to time and decay (and so many moves). I’ll have to type it all again and get some scans. Doubt if I have any of the original PFS Write files, and the maps were all done freehand. Anyway, stay tuned and some content may appear.

Oh, pulled a later printing of the D&D (not AD&D) player’s guide out of a dusty box and brought it to the Saturday night gaming group. Folks got a lot of kicks paging through that. Lots of comments on the artwork with some preferring the old line drawings.

First Post!

The Famous 5-Minute Installation of WordPress was closer to 20 hours before all was done and working. Not that I worked on it all that time… there was some actually installing, a night’s sleep, a breakfast date and Neverwinter Nights with my wife, and finally a few more hours of troubleshooting and hair pulling… only to realize while out gaming, I checked the site on my phone, and saw that things were working. Back home, I discovered that I was reloading a cached parking page. *sigh* Also, ssl started working at some point, but I’m not sure what random click finally got that together. But glad that’s done, too. The ‘Unsecured site’ warning was embarrassing.

So here’s a first post in what is now December, which brings to mind how close we are to Christmas.

Something seasonal I found on the Twitters…

Regards,

Jason
